Some of the best advice I’ve ever been given is this: when you’re there, be there. In other words, engage with your kids and give them your best.
This might mean leaving the computer off, ignoring your phone, or turning off the football game. I hope that one day my girls can look back to their growing up years with the memory that when dad was there, he was really there!
